- İnanın hatırlamıyorum.
Bir papağan gibi tekrarlamaya ve etinden ısırmaya başladı. Enteresan duygular içinde, bilinçaltı gizli hazların tuhaf çekiciliğine kapılan çocuklar izler tavşanı. Ama her sahte duygunun sonu gibi bu orman da birdenbire bitiverir. Geriye tek yol, gerçekle yüzleşmek ve ölmek kalır. Bu lanetli ormanda hiç beyaz çocuk yok. Hiç, çocuk, yok.
- Çünkü ölüler büyümez, dedi.

Aşkın resmi de aynı derecede sıkıcıdır. Birbirine benzeyen resimlerle dolu bir galeride dolaşmaya benzer. Bu sıkıcılıktan bunalanlar, koşa koşa ordan uzaklaşarak, ayrık otlarının arasına, her bir dikendeki güzelliğin ayırdına varmak üzere kendilerini bırakırlar.
